HELPING TO KEEP MY SPIRITS UP

WHAT CANCER CANNOT DO
CANCER IS SO LIMITED

IT CANNOT CRIPPLE LOVE
IT CANNOT SHATTER HOPE
IT CANNOT CORRODE FAITH
IT CANNOT DESTROY PEACE
IT CANNOT KILL FRIENDSHIP
IT CANNOT SUPPRESS MEMORIES
IT CANNOT SILENCE COURAGE
IT CANNOT INVADE THE SOUL
IT CANNOT STEAL ETERNAL LIFE
IT CANNOT CONQUER THE SPIRIT

Hi pal--Just checking in to see what is up. Life keeps happening so i am glad to say that I have actually had a few days that i did not obsesses that cancer is growing throughout my body. It is so hard though on days isn't it?

My friend had her implant put in yesterday and is doing well with it...she had her reduction at this phase, unlike mine which happened at mastectomy time. She had chemo as she had "the garden variety" cancer.

I need to email our ACC sister in California who had a recurrence. I think she is back to same old scans that we will have.

Someone sent me that cancer poem and it is what keeps us going--as long as we stay positive!

Not much else to report here. My right knee is bothering me...it has like a hot spot on it and I always wonder if it is cancer spreading there. But it could also mean I am too heavy!

Love you girl--

Molly

Ok, me again. I didn't realize you had other posts besides the poem. i am SOOOOO pleased you have your expanders back in! And the fact that you are a non-smoker will definitely help in the healing process. Keep taking those great drugs. I am durg free these days and sometimes miss the oblivion that they out me in...how sad is that? : )

Stay tuff my little cancer warrior!

Molly
